Aruba Hi-Winds

Aruba Hi-Winds returns for the 35th year from May 17th through the 22nd for five days of kitesurfing, windsurfing, and biking. This is the largest watersport event of its kind in the Caribbean, attracting surfers from around the world!

The Aruba Hi-Winds begins on Wednesday the 24th at Fisherman’s Hut. You can expect all sorts of competitions and activities, such as:

Long-distance races for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wingfoil

And this November, the annual Aruba beach tennis tournament will return to Bushiri Beach, welcoming thousands of spectators and competitors. But, before we cover what to expect at the event, you may be wondering what beach tennis is all about. Beach tennis combines elements of tennis, badminton, and beach volleyball to create a fun and easy-to-play sport. All you need to play are a few paddles, an inflated tennis ball, a volleyball net, and a sand court. Aruba Beach Tennis Tournament

The Aruba Beach Tennis Tournament, also known as the Aruba Open, will occur on November 13th-20th of 2022. The event attracts hundreds of participants from 20 countries and thousands of spectators annually. Experience the most popular sporting event on Aruba as a spectator, or join in on the fun and register to play in one of the tournaments.

The tournament kicks off on Sunday, November 13th, at Bushiri Beach with the exhibition tournament. On the following days, the match starts at 9:00 am and lasts until the afternoon. Every night ends with live music or a DJ at the beach. View the full event schedule here.
